Nov. 4th, 2019 09:26 amI'm signing up at the last possible moment, am now still a little bit unsure of what I'll end up requesting, and I'll edit this post to be a proper letter as soon as I manage.

I put some preliminary wishes already in my sign-up, and I won't veer off those too much, I don't think - but please check here too for elaboration and hopefully more prompts. I'll edit in some sort of "letter completed" notice when I'm done, I'm so sorry for the hassle and delay in finishing.

As I wrote on the signup, "Alfie" is an explicit porn webcomic by InCase, with surprisingly good plot and worldbuilding.
I'm especially intrigued by Hana's character, and the potential of an orc ("green man") as her legit romantic love interest.
This is the guy who first took her pan, and later suddenly joined the caravan. He's supposed to feature more in the chapter that's currently updating every wed-thurs-fri, and based on sketches posted on Incase's twitter,he'll show up and even get some speaking lines next week!
Obviously, if you're writing for this canon, I'm hoping that you'll manage to include the upcoming developments in the comic (at least in the next couple of weeks), like his name and general temperament, or possibly his species' name etc - but I don't expect every little thing revealed just before assignments are due to be taken into account.
So far he's appeared in page 601, https://buttsmithy.com/archives/comic/p-601, and page 832 - and will apparently show up next week too.
I'm delighted with this promise of a size difference interspecies romance defying orc tropes, and hope Hana ends up finding the passionate true love match of her dreams with this yet unnamed green hunk. Maybe they'll both turn out to be massive mushy romantics!
I really like Hana despite her overt busybodyness, and the conflict between her barely-concealed inner passion and the restrictive attitudes of the place where she grew up. A lot of the readers seem to project intolerant or religious attitudes on her, but imo it's pretty notable that she's not an evangelical christian or a puritan - she wasn't bothered in the least by Marco and Alfie having an interspecies unmarried affair, and instead defended it fiercely in page 487 ("It's love! Of course you'd want to - it's not wrong! Love is never wrong!") or by Ozge telling her she's gay.
She disapproves of infidelity, of no-strings sex; I suppose because she's implied to have been hurt by an incident in her past, where she probably had her heart broken and reputation ruined. But despite this she dreams of true love and seems to think it's natural that once you're in love, the sexual part comes with that. So the combo of being a passionate defender of true love and acting on it, and also establishing a purity brigade complete with pins is pretty interesting. She's certainly passionate about the things she believes in.
SOME LOOSE PROMPT SUGGESTIONS:
- One thing I'm very curious about is the night they met.
Hana went to get her pan back, stayed away all night and returned clearly smitten, with pan, in p 801. Then practically the same day, suddenly orc dude (and friend) are joining the caravan. Obviously they fell madly for each other, but how? I don't think Hana's the type to just start screwing someone she's attracted to, so what happened? How did Hana impress him so much he decided to join the caravan that was leaving the same day?
- Just some fluff about them conducting their romance behind the caravan's back, now that he's traveling along. Or possible potential future fluff. I like to imagine (at this point, at least) that they'll really fall for each other and stay together. Will he teach Hana to read? Will she write a cookbook? Will they have kids? Will Hana proudly write letters home about her wonderful husband who's a civilized, honest gentleman with a solid job as construction foreman, an engineer?
- How might the green man see the situation? It's quite a leap he took, just dropping everything at the Redfort and joining the caravan to follow Hana after one night. Has he been dreaming of romance quietly all this time, miserable and surrounded by nude orgy-goats and their shitty, cold food? How did he lose his eye, is there tragedy in his past? Is the other bald green man who also joined the caravan his buddy? Is is asking him for tips re: romancing human women? How does Hana's past scandal affect her, is she scared of being taken advantage of again, and how will mr green try to get around that?
- How will Eyck, the caravan master, react to Hana, his niece, conducting a scandalous affair with a half-naked hulking green man? Hana already shamed the family before, and now this. And how will Hana react at someone daring to judge their amazing love and her wonderful man, who's kind and a gentleman and strong and honest and employed and literate, unlike some people she knows.
Honestly, go wild. I don't want the green man to turn out to be a brute or a cad, I hope they legit fall for each other and are happy, but aside from that, I'm happy with just reading about them.

3 - Integrate (Thea Hayworth), Sezin x Gavin and worldbuilding and whatnot.
General likes:
I like arranged marriage or cabin fic type cliche scenarios where people must get together even though they may be distrustful at first - not sure if it's applicable here, but I'll mention it anyway. Enemies to lovers, opposites attract and such. I also enjoy (mutual) pining, tenderness, learning to love, adorkable inability to spit out just how badly in love one is, gestures of attraction, personal growth, emotional vulnerability, getting over obstacles and prejudices and conflicting / changing worldviews.
Redemption arcs, power couples, morally ambiguous characters etc are also my jam (even though again, maybe not relevant for these pairings).
Angst, UST (also eventually resolved, ayyyy), fake dating, possessiveness, jealousy, forced proximity, the works. I'm also into political scheming and worldbuilding details - I think this might show in the pairings I chose, heh.
AUs might be fine, at least if they're canon divergent - time travel or (well-researched!) historical AUs for example might be fun? But please no high school or coffeeshop etc stuff. In general I think I'd prefer to stay close to canon.
